Martha Joyce LaFevers, 79, of Lawrenceville, passed away on April 30 in her assisted living home in Buford, Ga.Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, May 3 at Tom Wages Funeral Home Lawrenceville, Georgia.Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, May 4 at Tom Wages Funeral Home 120 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia with Reverend John LaFevers, officiating. Burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville.Mrs. LaFevers was born in Fairview, NC.to parents Charlie and Ida Fay Duckett on April 28, 1939. She married Wayne E. LaFevers on April 26, 1959 in Knoxville TN. She worked as a supervisor for Internal Revenue Service for 23 years. Her passion was loving her family. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and recently enjoying the love of her 4 great-grandsons. No one was a stranger to mom, just a new friend she was meeting for the first time.Martha Joyce LaFevers is preceded in death by her husband Wayne LaFevers, parents Charlie and Fay Duckett, and her brother Bill Duckett.Martha Joyce LaFevers is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Wayne and Sandra Able LaFevers, Braselton, Ga; Ronald Earl and Angela Denise LaFevers, Buford; brother Frank Duckett; sister Dorothy Perkins; Grandchildren John, April, Chris, Kristen, Courtney and four great-Grandchildren Bruin, Matthew, Caleb, and Logan.Read Obituary
