I worked for Mark during my first tour to FBI Counterterrorism Division. During times of immense pressure, Mark set a constant example of calm and decisive decision making and set an example as an outstanding leader. Our country is safer because of Mark's service. Thank you Mark - you will be missed.

I was honored to serve with Mark for several years when I was a new agent in Atlanta. We stayed in touch throughout our careers and I was privileged to serve as Mark's Special Assistant when he was the Deputy Director. Mark was a great leader and mentor and nothing was more important to him than his family. Mark left a tremendous legacy for the FBI and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Mark and his family. May Mark rest in peace.

My condolences to the entire Giuliano family. I had the wonderful opportunity to play football with Mark at the College of Wooster and we even both returned to coach there a few years after we graduated. Mark made me smile all of the time, especially when he would stay at my apartment during football season and continually apologize for smelling like jam and jelly from Smuckers. He was a true friend, a fierce competitor, and I am certain a wonderful husband and father. It was my pleasure to know him and I can't imagine the pain of losing someone so early in life who had so much more to give. Bless him and you. Please remember that the words you read from others are heartfelt and will probably fall short of describing a fabulous human being. My prayers and sympathy are with you.
