Marilyn Ramsey

Marilyn Ramsey, age 82, of Lawrenceville, Ga, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William Ramsey, and her devoted son Mark Ramsey. Marilyn was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1934. She began her life of serving others at the age of 18 when she saved 4 people from drowning after a boating accident. For her heroism she received the Young America Medal and the Andrew Carnegie Award. In her professional career as a realtor, Marilyn always worked to serve her clients best interest. No matter how big or small the sale, all were important to her. She worked aggressively to make sure all received fair treatment. In her personal life, all were welcome at Marilyn's house and she was always eager to share whatever she had. She will be greatly missed. Burial will be at the Baker family plot in Bruswick, Ga.
