Julian “Bud” Taylor, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the age of 74, of Stone Mountain, Ga. He was preceded in death, by his father, Julian H. Taylor, Sr.; and his mother, Margaret Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sherry Taylor; his daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Jason Wood; his two lovely granddaughters, Madeline and Gracie Wood; older brother, James Taylor; and a host of other relatives. Bud was born in Baltimore, Md. He was a tool and die maker, contour grinder for 47 years. He enjoyed vacationing with family, hunting with friends, riding his motorcycle, and playing with his granddaughters. Bud was a very creative man; always building things and tinkering in his garage. He enjoyed ‘hitting it big’ at the casinos and spending time with his friends. “There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life”. -John Lennon There are no services planned at this time.
