Jorgen Spencer Olsen

Jorgen Spencer Olsen, age 53 of Grayson, GA, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Jorgen Olsen, Jr. Jorgen is survived by his wife, June Olsen; mother, Nedra Budge; children, Spencer Olsen (Morgan) and Sanna Olsen; grandchildren, Brenia Olsen, and Noelia Olsen; siblings, Janet Hailstone (David), Gordon Olsen (Kikuko), Karen Nakaniwa (Akinori), and Delsie Olsen; and nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives. Jorgen was born in Rexburg, ID. Jorgen graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Jorgen graduated Magna cum Laude from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Aeronautics/Management. Jorgen was a Lead Avionics Maintenance Technician for Delta, with 23 years of seniority. Jorgen retired from the US Air Force with various distinctions and meritorious awards. Jorgen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was beloved in their youth and adult organizations. Jorgen was a Committee Member for the Boy Scouts of America. Jorgen enjoyed car restoration, autocross, drag racing, woodworking, and had a love for travel. The family of Jorgen Olsen invites you to join with them in celebrating his life on January 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm. The service will be held at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Lilburn Chapel, 1150 Cole Dr. SW, Lilburn, GA 30047. It will also be streamed live at LawrencevilleWard.org.
