Jeanette Doolittle was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born on April 29th, 1941 and left this world surrounded by her children on June 27th, 2022. She was 81 and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jeanette was preceded in death by beloved husband, Otis Doolittle; her parents, Hubert and Ethel Wallace; four brothers, Brennon Wallace, Eugene Wallace, Clint Wallace, Darryl Wallace; and one sister, Mildred Lipham. She is survived by her son, Philip (Michele) Doolittle of Fayetteville; her daughter, Melissa (Brian) Burton of Suwanee; four grandchildren, Justin (Katelyn) Hill, Kiersten Burton, Abigail Doolittle, Bre Burton; one great-grandchild, Charlie Hill; and two sisters, Vivene Ayash and Bobbie Musgrove.Jeanette was an avid gardener and a certified Master Gardener. Her home in Duluth constantly receives compliments from friends and neighbors, and her home in Stone Mountain received the Yard of the Month award countless times. Jeanette loved to go to Stone Mountain Park, and took the grandchildren frequently. She attended Duluth First Baptist church, where she was active in her Sunday school group. Jeanette retired from the US Post Office after many years of loyal service.The graveside service to celebrate the life of Jeanette Doolittle will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA, with interment to follow. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
