Janice Nadine Brown Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Janice Nadine Yarbrough Brown, age 81, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jimmy Charles Brown; son, Charles “Greg” Brown (Sherri); daughters, Sherri Ann Hannon (Cary) and Connie Renee Brown (Eddie) ; grandchildren, Casey Bray (Brett), Nicki Paris (Chris), Jake Hannon (Grace), Will Jessup (Melanie); great-grandchildren, Lawson and Lane Bray and Josh Paris; sister, Christine Chumbler; brothers, Byron Yarbrough, and Duane Yarbrough; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Luke Hannon; sister, Marie Speer; and brothers, W.M. Yarbrough and Lebron Yarbrough. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Evelyn Santos for her dedicated and loving care of Janice, as well as the other special caregivers who lovingly helped take care of Janice. Janice was born on February 21, 1941 in Valley Head, AL to Leander Doyle Yarbrough and Evelyn Elizabeth Boatman Yarbrough. Janice married the love of her life Jimmy Charles Brown on November 12, 1958 in Buchanan, GA. She was employed for Kraft Foods before retiring. Janice was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Janice will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00pm at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Dan Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm.
