He is preceded in death by his parents, Williams and Ann Gall , and by his brother David. Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dianne Gall, his sons David Anthony and James Russell, his daughter-in-law Victoria, as well as Pamela Diaz who was like a daughter to him.Originally from Ohio, Jim moved to the Atlanta area in 1982 where he forged a successful career in computer technology. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rider who possessed an internal map of the mountains of Georgia which he loved. He could often be found tinkering on his bike in the garage, customizing his motorcycle in his own unique style. Jim was also a dedicated exercise buff who enjoyed weightlifting, running and bicycle riding. He loved going to movies and watching football with his family, eating out at restaurants and indulging in dessert!Most of all, Jim was a generous, caring and fun loving man who would help anyone in need in whatever way he could. Always young at heart, he brought joy, laughter, and happiness to everyone around him. He was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed being with his family above all else. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.A memorial service honoring the life of James will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2021 at 3:00pm at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.
