James Robert Diamond, 91, of Snellville, GA., died peacefully on July 30th, 2022. James is survived by his beautiful wife of 70 years, Alma Elmore Diamond; 3 daughters, Vickie, Ann, and Lisa(Edward); 5 grandchildren, Charity(Dee); James(Rachael); Dale(Sophia); Brittany(Kenny); Abby(Chris); 11 great grandchildren, Lilyana, Kenny, Domino, Philip, Walker, Willa, Morgan, Raymond, Parker, Brad, and Kyle. James was born on May 24th, 1931 to Oscar and Geneva Diamond of Strawberry Plains, Tn. He graduated from Carson Newman College. After serving 4 years in the Air Force, James was a school teacher, at Glen Haven Elementary school for 31 years. He was an active deacon at Annistown Rd. Baptist Church. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was known by many but will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The funeral service to celebrate the life of James Robert Diamond will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
