Irene Auer Thomas

Irene Auer Thomas, age 87, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband James Thomas; children, Cary Thomas, Jason (Natasha) Thomas, Leslie (Matthew) Young, John Kathy Humphrey) Auer; grandchildren, Ryan Young and Brandon Auer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Helen Mitman; late husband, Joseph Auer; and brother, Rudolph Mitman.Irene was a member of North Metro Baptist Church. She was born in Bethlehem, PA. Irene worked as a RN in various hospitals in New York City and later opened the Cook Nook which specialized in specialty kitchen shop. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Irene will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM at North Metro Baptist Church in the Fireside Room.
