Howard Wendell Barrett

Howard Barrett, age 78, of Winder, Georgia, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, of an apparent heart attack. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Barrett; mother, Daisy Brady Barrett; brothers, Robert Barrett (Jeannie), Ray Barrett (Ruby), Raymond Barrett (Joyce), Charles Barrett (Angeline); sisters, Betty Wilder (Claude), Hazel Barrett, Barbara Kazda (Jim), and infant Janice Lynn Barrett.He is survived by his brother, Roy Barrett of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Sandra Batchelor (Lanier) of Loganville, GA, Dorothy Sims (Paul) of Dacula, GA; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; cousins; and caregiver, Angie Barrett.Howard attended the Hi-Hope Service Center for many years. He was a cheerful person and enjoyed visiting and going out with his family and friends. His common question when he saw his family was “Where You Been?” He will be dearly missed by his family and his friends at Hi-Hope Service Center and Winder Nursing Facility.A PRIVATE Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
