Evelyn Hardin Huey

Evelyn Hardin Huey, age 92 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John A. Huey, Jr. She is survived by her children, Allen Huey of Lawrenceville and John A. Huey, III of Talking Rock, GA; and granddaughter, Rebecca Bliss. Evelyn was born in Atlanta, GA. She worked as an executive administrator for CEO of DeKalb County. Evelyn was also a member of Mountain Park United Methodist Church, in Stone Mountain, GA. The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
