Edith loved to garden, watch Bollywood movies, cooking Indian food, and traveling to India to visit her brothers and sisters. But what made her happiest was the time she spent with her family and friends who she loved more than anything. She was known as "Nani" and "Dadi-ma" to her grandchildren who she showered with affection. Edith loved to host large family gatherings at her house on holidays, especially at Easter and Christmas and weekend sleepovers at her house with the grandchildren. In the wake of these gatherings, she would bask for days and weeks in the loving memories that were created, and she would chronicle these memories in emails to all of her family. She was warm, loving, caring and strong in her faith. Her family is grateful to Benton House of Sugar Hill and their staff for their loving care and comfort they have provided to her and her family.
