Dylan Carter Smith Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dylan Carter Smith, age 24, born March 7, 1997 in Atlanta, GA, suddenly and sadly passed away early Saturday morning, September 18, 2021 at his home. Preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Jack (Opa) and Karol (Oma) Smith, Aunt Ellaine (Smith) Yeaman, his maternal Grandparents, Richard Kirk and Sylvia Southers. Dylan is survived by his Father, Wayne Smith (Amy), Mother, Kim Smith, Brother Tyler Smith, Aunts, Karen Johnson, Robyn Garver (Bill), Karla Wilson (Mark), Cousin Joshua Johnson. Dylan’s passion in life was creating music on his laptop and playing his guitar with his brother Tyler, as well as lifting his family and friends up in love and support when they were down. He was very funny and made friends with everyone he met and was loyal and merciful to all he knew. Some of his other great passions in life were skateboarding with his brother Tyler, drawing and painting, watching horror and comedy movies. He loved life and wanted to explore all it had to offer; he enjoyed the outdoors; hiking in the woods, and he loved animals of all sorts. He loved using his culinary skills to create delicious dishes, and working as a chef at Bonefish Grill and cooking at home for family and friends. Dylan was a very headstrong person and if he really believed in something he was determined to get his point across. He also loved a good debate, but that was because he was so very smart and wanted to share his thoughts and knowledge about certain topics with anyone who would listen. His absence will be felt by all who knew and loved him.
