Dorothy S. Hipp Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dorothy S. Hipp, born March 2, 1936 and entered into the presence of the Lord June, 28, 2022. Dorothy Springs Hipp was preceded in death by her father and mother; William and Irma Springs; her brothers, Harold and Edward Springs; and her daughter, Karen Hipp. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Hipp; son, Dwayne Richard Hipp; adopted daughter, Nancy Butler; two granddaughters, Samantha and Courtney Butler; and niece, Leslie Rhyne Springs. Dot was a Precept Bible Study teacher for nearly 30 years and loved studying and sharing God’s word. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, sewing and painting. She initiated the Snellville United Methodist Church flower guild. She was an active member of the church and served in various ways in the Open Door Sunday School Class. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy S. Hipp will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Snellville United Methodist Church, Snellville, GA. Interment will be prior to the service on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Eternal Hills Memory Garden, Snellville, GA. beginning at 10:00 AM.
