Donna L. Violante

Donna Oxendine Violante, age 69, of Lawrenceville, GA, raised in Savannah, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Juanita Oxendine; daughter, Kimberly Violante; brother, John Oxendine. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Violante of Lawrenceville; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Morris of Buford, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Robert Casas of Pendergrass, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Richard Lange of Mount Airy, Ga; son, Nicholas Violante, Jr. of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Dominick Violante, Kayla and Andy Mocahbee, Hunter Morris, Nico Casas, Naomi Lange, Thomas Violante; great grandchild, Elaina Morris. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She put the needs of others before hers, providing tender love and care to her husband, parents, and children. Her actions serve as an inspiration to us all. Her love was on the fur of every dog and bird that crossed her path. She found great joy in creating warm cozy blankets for loved ones, as well as cooking, painting, bird watching, reading books, and watching her favorite shows like CSI. Her dedication to Farmville led to a computer upgrade from her family to keep up with her ever growing farm. This Savannah Southern Bell was very passionate about her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, peanut butter sandwiches, coffee, and cigarettes. Donna was a hard worker from a young age. She passed down that same determination and strong work ethic to her children. She worked at Baskin-Robbins, El Chico’s and the printing industry for many years. She even owned her own bindery business where she employed her crazy family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
