Donald L. Cumbie, aged 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Snellville, GA on March 21st, 2024. He is survived by his brother Steve Cumbie of Conyers, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Tracy and Kim Cumbie and their children of Stone Mountain, GA; cousin and husband Kim and Kevin Bonkowski and their son of Oxford, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Travis Williams and their children of Cumming, GA; daughter Elizabeth White and her children of Conyers, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Catie White and their children of Loganville, GA; Kevin Cumbie and his children of Covington, GA; and daughter Michelle Cumbie of Snellville, GA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Cumbie (Filson); father Bruce Cumbie; wife Teresa Cumbie (Stearns); and aunt Shirley Brooks (Filson).Don had many hobbies and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He always had a story to share and kept the laughs rolling. He enjoyed sports, specifically Nascar racing and Atlanta Braves baseball, classic vehicles, coaching little league softball, and deep-sea fishing. He was also a big fan of the 1970’s era and enjoyed listening to records of his favorite bands from the 70’s. He never missed a day of work to provide for his family, and he was always there for his children in any time of need. He made it a point to attend as many family gatherings as he could and really valued spending time with his family and 13 grandchildren. Don was such a kind and caring person.
