Rest in peace, Ace of Raves.

I wish I could be there to see you off. I'm sorry that I can't.
You were one of my oldest friends, and I love you like a brother. Even when the times were rough and everyone else left, we still managed to stick together. You were there if I needed you, and I tried to return the favor as long as I could before I had to leave, twice. I miss you, my friend, and I can't believe I'll never get the chance to goof around with you again.

My favorite memory of you is when you, me, and T went to Six Flags. it was just like the old days in high school, and you helped us feel that youth again. I didn't see you happy like that in a long time, and we all needed that joy we shared as we drove home listening to Kenny Loggins going into the Danger Zone.

I remember when I first met you in the cafeteria in Shiloh High, your enormous hair trailing behind you. You came up to me with a grin, a hand outstretched with a welcoming "Suuup?"
You and the other Jacks helped me feel a lot less lonely as a freshman.

Thank you for all the good times, the laughs, the jokes, the understanding, the heart-to-hearts. Thank you for your incredible wit, for your creativity, for the backup, for listening, for your friendship.

Maci, Jennifer, Krista, and Mr. Duncker (sr.) - please accept my deepest condolences, I wish you all the absolute best. I wish I could visit you.
