Colleen Carol Abernathy, age 84 of Snellville, GA, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leila Stiger, and her son, Ross Abernathy, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Ross Abernathy; daughter, Bonnie Abernathy; son, Robert Abernathy; granddaughter, Wendi Bearrow; and grandson, Bryan Bearow.Colleen loved attending church. She worked for Northern Telecom as a skills instructor. In her free time, Colleen loved ceramics and arranging flowers.The funeral service to celebrate the life of Colleen Carol Abernathy will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA.
