Bobbie Jean Goza

Bobbie Jean Lasseter Goza, age 87, of Stone Mountain, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Frank Goza, on June 25, 2015; as well as her parents. She is survived by her son, Cary Gene Goza.Mrs. Goza was born on January 16, 1934, in Moultrie, Georgia to Early Elward “El” Lasseter and Irene Lewis Lasseter. She was a 1951 graduate of Moultrie High School and attended vocational school with a focus on bookkeeping. She started her career with John Deere when she began working with her father, El Lasseter, at the John Deere/Lasseter Equipment Group in South Georgia when she was 18 years only as a bookkeeper. She then moved to the Atlanta area where she worked for John Deere in Conyers, GA from 1966 until her retirement, February 19, 1980. She met and married the love of her life Frank, Goza, on March 25, 1972. Mrs. Goza was totally devoted to her husband Frank during his lifetime, especially his last years due to failing health. She enjoyed shopping for antiques and spending time at church, Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker, GA, where she was a faithful member for 30 years. She and Frank are now together again in Heaven where she has wanted to be since he went home in 2015.The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA. Cary will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the graveside.
