Sandy, we are so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.
I know he will be missed. I remember hearing so many of his stories when we were neighborsp. Condolences and prayers to you, Dawn and her family.
Margy and Tad Milewski
My deepest sympathy to you at this time. Uncle Bill was like a father to me and treated me like a daughter. I will miss him immensely.
Billy was a friend in Harbins and the Dacula Schools in the 1940's and 50's. We are/were two of the few left of the Harbins School folks. Whenever we would see each other it was brought up. He loved Mr. "Hoke" Sims his teacher and my Dad. He would tell my Dad played ball with them at recess just like one of them but "when the bell rang and he put his tie and coat back on, he was the teacher and you listened and paid attention and learned'. A few others of us are out there. I love each of you . Not very many any more.
Billy's grandparents, Will and Essie, had a barber shop and beauty parlor in Downtown Dacula in the 30's, 40's, and 50's. They've given many a perm and haircut and shave and eventually had a shower installed. Who remembers this?
My sympathy to Sandra and Dawn and family. I was a friend of Peggy, Billy's sister, also who died several years ago. I know you will miss Billy so much. So will I, just knowing he isn't in Harbins anymore. Like me and a few other old ones who stayed near. I love all of you, near or far. Jean Otis Sims Smith (Roger).
Sandra, sorry to hear of Billy's passing. I remember you and him coming to the Dairy Queen in Winder where I worked and you brought me some homemade cookies you had made. Billy and you were always so friendley.Prayers are with you through these hard days ahead. God will take care of you. Barbara and Jackie McDaniel
