Bettie Palmer Brownlee

Bettie Palmer Brownlee, age 87 of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Huck Palmer; grandson, Charlie Wilson; and siblings, Gene Palmer, Margaret Brown, and Dora Barry. She is survived by her children, Susan Denning (David), Jim Brownlee (Myra), and Nancy Clack (Chuck); grandchildren, Megan Maney (Brad), Katie Denning, Brady Byrd, and Will Clack; great grandson, Mason Maney, brother, George Palmer (Anita); and many nieces, nephews, and other family.Bettie was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and retired from the Hartford Insurance Company after more than 20 years of service.The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Bettie Palmer Brownlee will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Grayson, GA. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson, GA. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
