Please select this link to view the funeral service for Barry Nicholson Barry Lee Nicholson, age 75 of McDonough, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bernice Nicholson; and daughter, Deborah Nicholson. Barry is survived by his wife, Alma Kathleen Nicholson; his oldest daughter, Susan Wallace (along with her spouse, Troy Wallace, and their son, Justin); his youngest daughter, Leanne MacNeil (along with her children, Sydney and Carter); and his younger sister, Linda Bedell. Barry retired from Delta Airlines after 33 years of service. With that job, he was able to take care of his family and take them on wonderful adventures. He, also, ran a trucking company with his father for about 10 years. He was well loved and respected at both businesses. His hobbies included fishing, traveling, watching baseball, and watching Nascar. He loved Dale Senior and Dale Junior. He attended many races with his coworkers from Delta and with his family. He had many special pets through the years that he loved as much as he did his family. His favorite spots to vacation were Daytona Beach, Jacksonhole, WY, and Hawaii. Barry will be very missed by his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, nephew, and cousin. He was a gentle giant with a huge heart! The service to celebrate the life of Barry Nicholson will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel in Snellville, GA, followed by an interment at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA. The family will receive friend on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at Tom. M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
