Barbara Mary Auger

Barbara M. Auger of Stone Mountain, GA passed away October 20, 2021 at the age of 95. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Leroy “Roy” Auger, Barbara was devoted to her husband and family. She is survived by her six children: Leroy Donald Auger, Jr., Richard and Sherry Auger, Margaret Auger, David and Suzi Auger, Elizabeth and David DuBose, Carolyn and David Joiner, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Barbara had many interests over the years including sewing, genealogy, history, bird watching and watching the Boston Bruins hockey team. She also enjoyed travelling with her husband. Some of her favorite trips included Europe, Australia, South America, and her numerous visits to the beach. She was a kind and caring soul who always thought the best of everyone. Memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 6 at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur at 2:00 pm. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M.
