Ann Poythress Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elizabeth Ann Poythress, age 87 of Grayson, Ga formerly of Wilson NC, died May 30, 2022. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Merron M and Mary E(Bessie) Poythress; sister, Judy P Williams; brother, Edward Poythress; and sister in law; Mary Ann Poythress. She is survived by nephew, Brent Williams and wife Shirah Williams of Stone Mountain, GA; brother in law, Bruce Williams of Braselton, GA. Prior to her move to GA in 2004, she was an active member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. She was prior to her death a member of First Baptist church in Snellville, GA. Ann loved her needlework, her friends, playing card games & rummikub and girls day out with family for getting nails done and enjoying Johnny's pizza. The graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, NE, Wilson, NC, 27893.
