Anita Nora Cain Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anita Nora Johnson Cain, age 89, died Sunday June 5, 2022 after a brief hospital stay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. (Mutt) Cain and her daughter, Debbie Cain Deckard. She is survived by her son, Marty Cain (Kay), daughter, Dale Lankford (Les) and daughter, Sandra Kennedy (Mike). She has five grandchildren, Andrew, Hunter, Cole, Joshua and Katie. She has four great grandchildren, Wesley, Mason, Khloe and Mackenzie. Anita was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Lawrenceville. She was the oldest member of the church – 1948. She was the valedictorian of her senior class – 1949. She was a realtor in Gwinnett County until age 72. Her last years were with Coldwell Banker -Buckhead Brokers. Services for Anita will be held at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The family will receive visitors at one p.m. with the service in the chapel following at two p.m. She will be buried alongside her husband at Gwinnett Memorial Gardens.
