Wayne Dunn

Mr. Thomas “Wayne” Dunn, age 78, of Monroe, GA, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 3:50 p.m. He was born September 10, 1939, in Scottdale, GA to J.W. and Lilly Viola Dunn. Wayne retired of 40+ years as a professional residential painter. He loved and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and especially his family.Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Brenda S. Dunn; his daughters, Teresa Alexander, Sandra Haught, Kathy Johnson, and their spouses, John Alexander, Dale Haught, and Gerry Johnson; his 10 grandchildren, Michael Dunn, Stephanie Hollis, Johnny Alexander, Christy Duke, Crystal Faust, Tricia Baters, Daniel Haught, Angela Haught, Sonya Plunkett, and Paul Johnson; and his 21 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Alice Banks; and several nieces and nephews.Wayne is preceded in death with his mother, Lilly Viola Dunn; and sister, Myrtis Townsend.The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Wayne Dunn will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
