Sharon Lynn Stone-McGlade

Sharon Lynn Stone-McGlade age 44, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. Sharon is survived by her children, Christopher McGlade and Chancellor McGlade, her parents, Ted and Linda Stone, her siblings, Michael A. Stone and Elizabeth Stone, her nieces, Lauren Stone and Olivia Bowman and numerous cousins.Sharon Lynn Stone-McGlade was a loving and kind soul. A daughter, sister, mother and friend that was full of life and humor. She was known for her excellent cooking… man we’ll miss that caramel cake. Sharon had a love of the beach and took any opportunity she could to be at her favorite place in the world, Florida. She had traveled all over the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. She had a knack for shopping, and if it was not on sale it was not going into her cart. Mother was so thoughtful of others, she even started shopping for next year’s Christmas by now. She was a graduate of University of North Georgia and was a sister in the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Her work for the State of Georgia allowed her to touch so many lives, and I know all those she touched are truly thankful for all she did for them. She will be truly missed by her family and anyone who had the pleasure to know her.A Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel to Honor and Celebrate Sharon’s life.
