Rebecca J. Stringer, age 61 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband, Laney Stringer; children, Amber Perren, Sonja (Doug) Schad, Cecil (Amy) Stringer; stepchildren, Candy Turner, Elizabeth (Danny) Bezon, Randy Turner, Sam (Kimberly) Turner, Eric (Karen) Turner; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Valerie Daniels, Suzanne Neal, Karen Mrzywka, Kathy Baney; and brother, Wayne Whiting. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Whiting. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 4PM at Tom M. With so many memories it is hard to know which to share....the ones that made us laugh, the ones that got us into trouble, or the ones that made cry...I have none Becky since I was a teenager, my sister's best friend. When I first met her, it was in the 70's...long hair, bell bottom pants, "Jesus sandals".....I thought she was cool.....40 years later she was still cool....thanks for the love, the friendship and always being there when you were needed....you raised two beautiful daughters and so your spirit will live on in them forever...friend by choice and sister in spirit...
