Patricia Snap lost her battle with cancer on October 29th, 2014. She was born in Chicago, IL in 1959. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Barbara Stanley.Patricia was a graduate of Northern Illinois University at DeKalb, IL, class of 1982. Patricia was employed in federal government service for many years and took early retirement a few years ago.Patricia loved animals, especially cats and dogs. After retiring from work, she enjoyed volunteering for “Planned PEThood of Georgia” where they perform low cost neutering of cats and dogs. She also loved indoor house plants. She had a real touch with house plants. They always seemed to live forever. She enjoyed all forms of art, especially painting. Patricia was a real people person. She always had a very bubbly personality. She will truly be missed by many people.Patricia is survived by her husband of 34 years, Steve Snap, a brother David Stanley & wife Harumi.A family celebration of life service will be held later.Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com Tom M. I just learned that Patty passed when I read about it in our class reunion booklet; I am so heartbroken that I didn't even know she was sick. I feel so sad that I rarely had time to look at facebook and I probably didn't answer her as often as I should have. I wish I could have spoken to her before she passed so I could have told her what a dear, sweet person she was and that she touched the world in a beautiful way. If I learned anything from her it is that I need to take time for people and I need to slow down. Patty, you are missed.

So very sorry to hear about Patty's passing. She had one of the best personalities I have ever seen. And her smile did light up a room. I remember when she was a cheerleader for wrestling . All the other cheerleaders quit and she got out there and cheered all by herself. Rip patty.

I remember walking with Patti from HS to Junior high for art class. Patty didn't walk really , we'd skip & sing the whole way there. She had a smile that would light up the whole room. Life's so short. I can't remember the last time I skipped. From now on I'm going to skip every opportunity I can. I remember that big smile of hers .
