Grace Elizabeth Burch

Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Burch, age 72, passed away in Lawrenceville on February 12th, 2016. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, 165 South Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, Ga. Grace was born in Greenville, Sc to Tom Garrett, Jr. and Janey Elizabeth Dalton Garrett in September, 1943. Grace met her husband Monty Burch over a shared love of cars, and they married in 1964. She devoted her life to her home and family before launching a 20-year career with the admissions office at Gwinnett Tech in 1991. She was a member of the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church where she led the first grade Girl’s Auxiliary for many years. She is survived by her sisters Lynn Roper of Scottsdale, Az, and Patsy Carter of Spring Hill, Tn. She is also survived by her daughter, Lillian Elizabeth Burch, and grandson, Charles Thomas Houston, both of Lawrenceville, Ga.
