Gail Martin

Gail Teese Martin, age 85 of Grayson, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rian. Gail is survived by children, Randy Walton (Sylvia), Stephanie Walton, Tricia Spooner, and Vicki Wicker (Edward); grandchildren, Kate, Jennifer, Heather, John, Kaitlin (Andrew), Julia, Matthew, Peter, Samantha, and Olivia; great-granddaughter Harper.Gail was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She lived overseas after WWII and was highly influenced by her travel and education in Europe. She spent many years of her adult life working for IBM.Gail’s happiest season of life was the time she spent with her second husband, Rian. They were inseparable while pursuing their love of antiquing and playing countless hours of Boggle together.Gail was an avid reader and life-long learner who loved animals, traveling, opera, and gardening. Gail was exceedingly proud of the journeys and successes of her children and grandchildren. Hearing about their lives brought her great joy.A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 18 at Tom Wages Funeral Home, 3705 Highway 78 West, Snellville, GA. Visitation at 2:00 pm, small prayer service to follow at 3:00 pm.Gail loved flowers and therefore flowers are welcome.
