Ed and I really enjoyed playing bridge with Erica; we also enjoyed hearing about her childhood. Ed is a history buff and those memories she shared were very special to him. She was a very sweet and interestiing lady. We all will miss her. Nina and Ed Levine

Erika was my husband's aunt. From the first time we met in the early 1990's, she was welcoming and cordial. Erika was a unique woman with such an interesting personality. One could tell right away that family was so important to her. At holiday family gatherings, she would always express interest in what was going on in our lives. When my husband and I adopted three children from Ukraine, Erika was happy for us and offered encouragement and compliments every time we got together. She was so proud of her sons and grandsons - she will be remembered as a loving grandmother and aunt.

I met Erika at the Bethesda Senior center. She was a delightful bridge player and I enjoyed playing with her. I also enjoyed hearing of her life's experiences in Germany. She was always thoughtful and caring and appreciated the many favors people bestowed upon her. I'm saddened by her passing and wish her family well.
