Donald Joseph Taylor Jr

Donald "Don" Taylor, Jr, 60 years young, passed away peacefully at home on 02/23/18 surrounded by family and friends, ending a four year battle with leukemia. His passions were his family, playing drums, riding his Goldwing motorcycle with his GWRRA friends, and driving his dream car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Colleen, his daughter's Caitlyn (Cheshire), Courtney, his granddaughter Makenzie Cheshire, his mother Carol, son in law Jimmy Cheshire and many close friends. Don was born in Oceanside, New York and moved to Florida during his youth in 1968. He relocated with his young family in 1989 to Georgia. Don worked many years in retail, but his last job as a maintenance director in a nursing home gave him the most satisfaction.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00pm at Tom M.
