Billy Marshall Hildebrand, Jr.

Billy Marshall Hildebrand, Jr., age 76, of Loganville, GA, passed away at home on Saturday, March 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Crystal Hildebrand; parents, Billy Marshall Hildebrand, Sr. and Frances Theodosia Hildebrand. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Allgood Hildebrand; children, Shawn and Scott Richards; Marty and Lindy Hildebrand and Heather and Jono Long; grandchildren, Karlee and Ashlyn Richards, Marshall, Mayes, Matthew, Maleigha and Mallory Hildebrand, Sawyer, Alana, Nevaeh, Pax and Lync Long all of Loganville, GA.; sister, Pat Gillian of Dawsonville, GA; brother, Jimmy and Donna Hildebrand of Suwanee, GA; and sister, Nita and Charlie Giddish of Suwanee, GA.Mr. Hildebrand served in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam Era being part of Operation Dominic, a series of nuclear tests conducted on Johnston Island in 1962. In 1992 he retired from DeKalb County Fire Department with 25 years of service. He continued to work for himself after retirement until 2008.The Celebration of Life Service for Billy Marshall Hildebrand, Jr, will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Grey officiating the service. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA.
