Barbara Aileen Hutchins

Barbara Aileen Hutchins, age 89 of Lilburn, GA passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Osborne Hutchins and is survived by her children, Aileen Hutchins Lovern (Wayne); Ronald O. Hutchins (Karen); Elizabeth H. Nichols (Jim); and B. Lynn Chastain (Terry). She has nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her older sister, Mary Cicely Ross (David).Barbara was born in Antigua, but lived most of her life in the Tucker/Lilburn area. Barbara retired from Sears and also worked many years in child care and as a preschool teacher. Barbara and her husband were charter members of St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, GA and she was a current member of Zoar United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing bridge with friends and knitting and crocheting.The Memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Barbara Aileen Hutchins will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Zoar United Methodist Church, Snellville, GA., 3895 Zoar Church Road, SW, Snellville, GA, 30039. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara Aileen Hutchins to; ZOAR UMC at www.zoarumc.org; or Ahimsa House; www.ahimsahouse.org.
